Wheels?
Contrary to others, my assembly was smooth and painless.
One of my shelves was not laminated on both sides, but who looks at the bottom of a shelf.
The only thing I didn't care for were the feet. Yes, they're adjustable (nice touch), but I'm going to replace them with casters. Even without the TV, the stand loaded down with DVDs doesn't move easily.

Great product but a pain to put together
This TV console turned out wonderfully. The pieces seemed to be well made. I've had problems in the past with cheap screws, etc being put into build it yourself products. However, this product does not have that problem. All pieces are sturdy. The problem it does have though, is that the directions are very vague. It won't say which direction a piece of wood should be placed. You have to figure it out based on review of future steps and deduction of what the thing should end up looking like. This was frustrating. Also, none of the pieces are labeled so you have to use their not so great drawings to identify which piece you should be using. I'm pretty good at building furniture and it took 3 hours to put it together. But after it was done I was very satisfied with the piece.

Modern and retro
So far we have been happy with our cabinet. Still trying to find the time to get organized and fill it with all our DVD's and Tapes. The cabinet looks sleek and the stainless legs gives it a retro look. The unit is heavy. Assembly wasn't too bad. You need some skills with a screw driver and 2 people makes it easier. Have only had it a few months so how it holds up is yet to be seen. Does make a nice addition to the room for our new plasma tv and hides all the things you don't want to see. So far would recommend.

nice stand but...
Nice stand but the directions are very BAD. I would say they are the worst I have every seen. But I got it together and the stand is nice.

just like a supermodel, looks good but takes a lot to get there.
"it does look good...but... directions are awful, you will need a drill with cross-tip or you better be he-man to put some of these screws in. I put stuff together all the time and this thing is ridiculous! painful experience, 3 plus hours to construct. really heavy boxes, and the finish is so easily scratched. to big of a pain to deal with. the company may be good but i do not recommend this item."

Everything I expected
Finally the wife agreed to replace the CRT TV! My only constraint was that the new TV had to fit into the present cabinet (The new set had to be less than 25 inches tall). I was leaning toward the Sharp anyway, I liked its picture quality in the store, and the frame around the actual screen was smaller than most. The 37 inch set was just the correct height. I also wanted 1080p so the TV could support future upgrades, and QAM, so we could watch non premium digital cable. The only assembly required was installing the base, and an allen wrench was thoughtfully included. The manual was clear, and channel setup was straight forward. The picture quality is remarkable, especially when switching between the analog and digital signal of the same TV station. The TV is a little slow changing channels, but only compared to the old CRT set. Sound is good too. My only regret is not buying a larger cabinet for the old TV ...

Outstanding TV, outstanding dealer.
The Sharp Aquos LC37D64U exceeds all of my expectations in picture, sound and price. The unit was shipped immediately from Electronic Express upon ordering and arrived promptly at my house via FedEx. Even the FedEx driver was impressed with the speed of shipment and perfect condition of the box. In a nutshell, the hi-def picture - from over-the-air broadcasts to DVDs is jaw-droppingly good. As far as I'm concerned, it has been a very long time since either an electronic device OR an online retailer lived up to the hype but in this case Sharp, Electronic Express and Amazon have truly delivered the goods. Highest recommendations to all.

Sharp 37" Aquos 1080P television.
The Sharp 37" Aquos 1080p has a great picture. The sound quality of this 37 inch tv is not that good. Rather tinny with little base. The picture quality is great at 1080p. The remote is a bit complicated so I use the Comcast remote and it has worked out fine. I bought this set due to the size limits of my tv cabinet. Most 37" sets are wider than the 36" opening of my cabinet. This Sharp is only 35.5" wide. Just fits in. I believe that this set has been discontinued but I would recommend it to anyone who may find one for sale out there.

Great Picture, but an input is cutting out every now and then with my xbox 360
We love this TV for the most part, the picture is excellent. There is one problem we are still trying to work out with it. I have my xbox 360 connected to the tv using component (rgb) and have noticed that the tv will cut out to a black screen in the middle of playing a game for about 1 second and then come back with the info box in the corner as if the input got unplugged and plugged back in. I've tried using the component connections on the side of the tv, but the problem persists. I have also tried a different cable all together with no luck. I called sharp about the issue and they suggested updating the software, but the software they had available for download was an older version than the one already on the tv. So far I haven't noticed the problem with any other source. I am fairly certain that it is not my Xbox 360, because I do not have this issue with any other tv that I hook it up to with the same configuration. I plan on contacting Sharp again to see if they can come up with a solution.

Great Buy
The Sharp LCD TV I bought is a fantastic piece of equipment and the result of very good engineering. I particularly am impressed with the sharpness of the picture and the surround sound quality. I would definitely recommend this as a GREAT BUY.

Top Quality
Bought this to hang a 46" Samsung TV in a difficult spot (near a corner). Had no problem mounting this to the wall or mounting the TV on it. The instructions were clear and they include hardware for just about any situation. The arms that attach to the back of the TV are self-centering, slide one and the other moves the same distance, like the t-square on a drafting table. I needed to slide my TV all the way to the left of the mount, so I loosened the cable and slid the arms over. This mount is very solid and heavy-duty. Has no problem holding the unit, and it pivots and pulls from the wall with a very tight, stable feel. Looks cool too. Price is somewhat higher than an average mount but, as usual, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended!

Very Nice BD Player
Bought this to replace an LG player which for some reason made high-pitched whirring noises off-and-on while playing a disc. No noise whatsoever from the Panasonic, so no distractions while watching movies. The remote key layout on the Panasonic is also more straight-forward. Both players take a while to recognize a disc, but that seems to be an issue with all BD players. Finally, the Panasonic recognized and played DVD-R recordings the LG wouldn't. Although this model is no longer manufactured, it is available via the refurb market and a great value for under 0.

Discountined -- What Am I'm Missing Here
This unit was raved about by professional product reviewers in late 2008 (CNET.com and Home Theater Magazine). It had a MSRP of 9, the 55K model was, I think 9, with additional analog audio inputs.
The 35K model was replaced by the 60K model which has the VieraCast web feature, yet the 35K is selling for over 0 !! What's going on !!
The 60K model was reviewed by CNET.com, and it received 3 out of 5 stars because it has less features than other (more expensive) players and "only" Very Good SD DVD (identical to 35K SD performance) -- the new 60K continues to be a solid Blu-Ray player with VG SD video - - however, it has been surpassed according to CNET.com by the Samsung BRP-2500 which has solid Blu-Ray playback and even better SD DVD performance.
The 60K is available through Amazon for about 0 (free shipping), while Costco has the 605K (w/ HDMI cable) for 6 (after coupon & tax). The Samsung 2500 (better than Pan 35K) is 0 and is beginning to be replaced by a newer model.
Why is the 35K being currently reviewed when the 60K is available ??
Why is the 35K being offered at more than 0 ??

a good buy...
Very nice picture, easy set up...it is just like watching high definition TV with my movies now...

Nothing short of excellent!
Six months have now passed since we received our BD35K and we haven't had anything to complain about with this equipment. We are happy with the set-up and find it to play each and every Blu-Ray we have put into it. With some rental disks, the scratches can cause the picture and sound to freeze and break up a little, but as we can tell that's no fault of the player.
The player itself loads quickly, is relatively quiet but does take a little time to turn on and eject to accept a disk.... but what's 20 sec, right? The remote is also relatively small and very easy to learn and use.
The images are always clear and crisp, with beautiful sound from all the latest movie releases. Some movies that have been outstanding to watch have been Iron Man, Hellboy 2, The Mist and Wall-E. Even a few older films are top quality, such as Road Warrior but we have found this is dependent on the transfer process (and quality) of the movie to Blu-Ray. Each movie has always looked as good as it did on the big screen and in some cases better!
Even regular DVD's play better than they would on our DVD player. I've watched a few movies and compared to the Blu-Ray versions, namely Transformers and Blood Diamond. It sometimes tricks you into thinking you're watching something more than just DVD, the "up-scaling" quality is that good.
We haven't set up surround sound yet and use it with a Vizio 120 Hz LCD, but feel the audio and video quality are transferred well. From seeing the reviews some people just didn't find the right match-up with TV but I guess we were lucky. There have been no problems with cables or connections so far... it was just plug and play with a cheap (but good quality) HDMI 6ft 1080P cable [...]
Somehow the price has doubled since the before-Christmas sales, so I'm surprised, but also pleased at the same time, that the deal we received was an awesome one. If you can wait until the price drops again below 0 like we did, do it!

Just one wish
Early impressions are solid! Definition superb, features good. I kinda wish I had sprung for the BD55 because of the Dolby surround sound but that's for another day. Unless you'd like to buy this from me for what I paid?

Good looking stand
This stand is a heavy unit, mostly due to the glass. The top piece is thicker than the others to account for the weight of a TV. Read the directions compeltely and find the top and bottom of the wood pieces - I had to disassemble once to get it right. I would say the quality of the wood was an average finish. I had expected better, but the cost was commensurate. All pieces fit together well. The back panel was somewhat different than the directions and the hole for the wiring is only somewhat useful. My components fit in this stand well and the extra shelf that other stands do not include was well worth the wait. The vertical space for the bottom shelf is 7 inches, and the middle is 8 inches, providing enough room in some cases for double stacking of components. I am considering the purchase of the same stand for another room.

Sweet Stand but cosmetic issues
The top front wood colored panel was damaged in several places, about the size of my thumb nail and for an 80 lb plus package, this was a bit distressing. It is scratched deep below the color. I would not go through all of the effort to return the stand after unpacking the entire thing ( I might add, it WAS nicely packaged). My feeling is that it was NOT damaged in shipment since it was so well padded in the package. I've tried to contact the seller (American 5 Star), but the email was returned for an unknown reason. I'm careful about my internet purchases but trust Amazon thoroughly so after many weeks of trying to find just the right Stand, I went with this. I caution others to contact the sellers before making a purchase.
